    Oregon WorldMark

A vacation can be a one of a kind experience in a WorldMark Oregon Timeshare. This beautiful state is full of surprises for the first time visitor. Beautiful mountains, the Pacific Ocean, lakes, national parks and first class cities are all waiting for anyone who wants to visit the Pacific Northwest.

The southern part of the state is well known because it is the home of the Shakespearean festival. People come from all over the world to see the plays that are offered year around. Ashland is a beautiful little community sitting at the base of the mountain. Southern Oregon University also calls this city home. Skiing, boating and hiking are only a few of things to do in this part of the state.

Travel a little farther north to see Crater Lake. Plan on taking lots of pictures, but don’t bring a bathing suit because the lake is only for viewing. It can be cold in the winter with several feet of snow, so the summer is the best time to come.

The Oregon coast is so amazing with its cliffs, rocks and beautiful trees. Florence is a short drive from Eugene, which is the home of the famous Oregon Ducks. Once in Florence, spend some time poking around the quaint little shops. Don’t forget to get some salt water taffy or a big bowl of clam chowder. Follow Hwy 1 up the coast and take the time to stop at all the viewpoints. Each one is different and offers many Kodak moments.

Blackberries grow freely though out the western part of the state. Stop and pick some or bring home enough to have a cobbler or pie. The kids will enjoy picking and eating them. They are safe and a great summer treat.

There are plenty of places to camp on the Oregon coast. It is a good idea to have reservations, but often there are some last minute spots open. Most of the campgrounds have bathrooms and showers. A tent can be a great way to go, but remember Oregon is green for a reason. It can rain any time of the year.

Portland is a must see city. It is at the top of the state and is known for its beauty and great restaurants. Public transportation is easy in this part of the state, so park the car and hop on the metro to get anywhere in town.

This is a wonderful state full of all kinds of surprises and many of them are free. Plan a vacation to Oregon and the whole family will want to come back year after year.
