Formerly Tendwest South, WorldMark Condominium Resort in Denaru Island, Fiji celebrated the 13th anniversary of operations on Saturday.

The celebration started with a hymn and a prayer from the staff and a traditional ceremony followed where the chief guests were honored.  The Velds from Northern Haven in New South Wales, Australia accepted the honor of cutting the anniversary cake.

The group has been members of the WorldMark South Pacific Club since 2000 and has lived through its variety of great holiday experiences and travesties.

The resort boasts a strong and enduring tradition of loyalty and pride and creates much of the destination appeal for this pristine Fiji Island.  Testaments to this are the facts that, “Over 70 per cent of the staff have been with the company for the past 10 years. It reflects the strong loyalty of both staff and those who holiday at the property”, General Manager, Glenn Daniels.  Also, “the flood in January 2009 was horrendous but again the people of Fiji they just dug deep…I think the only thing that upsets the people of Fiji is when they lose the Sevens – in everything else they do very well”.

Reflecting Wyndham’s commitment to the people and cultures that support the Denaru Island, Fiji resort was the time spent by Wyndham’s CEO, Barry Robinson, Sr. VP Property Development and Resort Operations, Marion Stewart, Sr. VP Owner Marketing and Loyalty, Clive van Deventer and Resort General Manager Glenn Daniels.
